Delallo: Organic Whole Wheat Orzo- No. 65, 16 oz

Barley is not found in many Italian regional cuisines, but it does appear in the North, thanks to the influence of nearby Austria.
Orzo pasta is not made with barley, but was named for its shape, similar to a large grain of barley or rice. Delallo's Orzo is actually made exclusively of Puglia-grown durum whole wheat semolina.
It can be eaten in soups, salads, or mixed with sautéed fresh vegetables where it adds heartiness and its interesting shape.
